THE AAMISMS ORGANIZATION

The purpose of The American Academy of Minimally Invasive Spinal Medicine and Surgery is to advance the knowledge and understanding of the innovative techniques of minimally invasive surgical and medical care of the spine. AAMISMS is a non-profit society dedicated to fellowship and scholarship.

AAMISMS has an international membership of physicians who practice some form of minimally invasive spinal medicine such as neurosurgery, neurology, orthopaedic surgery, pain management/anesthesiology, physiatry, and chiropractic medicine. The organization has an annual World Congress and also publishes a newsletter, medical textbook and medical journal.
