The Journal of Minimally Invasive Spinal Technique will be
published quarterly by The American Academy of Minimally Invasive Spinal
Medicine and Surgery, the International Society of Minimal Intervention in
Spinal Surgery and the
American
College of Physicians & Surgeons. Our inaugural journal is expected to
be in circulation in July 2001 and will be published quarterly thereafter.
The Journal of Minimally Invasive Spinal Technique is a peer
review publication devoted to the circulation of work relating primarily
to innovations in the care of patients with spinal disorders. Specialists
in neurosurgery, anesthesiology, orthopaedics, neurology, pain management,
rehabilitation, physical therapy, interventional radiology, rheumatology,
osteopathy, and chiropractic treatment are invited to submit articles on
clinical research, original medical treatment, minimally invasive surgical
technique, case studies, technical notes, historical vignettes, and book
reviews. Letters to the editor will be published with answers from
contributors as part of an ongoing Global Forum. All submissions are
subjected to blinded review. The editorial board reserves the right to
judge the appropriateness of studies involving human and laboratory
subjects.
